NIB Vintage 1989 Sonja Gotz Europa 16” Girl Doll Brown Hair Brown Eyes Sleepy Eyes Soft Body. Condition is New in box! Doll is still attached to box. Has not been removed from the box. Box was opened for pictures. She closes her eyes when laying down.
This Gotz Play Doll SONJA was produced in 1989; she measures 40cm/16" tall and has a Doll ID # or Catalog Code: 14004. She has "ROOTED," long, straight, dark brown hair with straight bangs; her hair is styled in two high, side pigtails with two white ribbon bows. Her "sleepy-eyes" are BROWN and have a DECAL eye design. She is a non-articulated, WEICHSTEHPUPPE doll.
Gotz categorizes this doll as a SOFT STANDING DOLL (or "Weichstehpuppe") due to its SOFT body type (it is made out of soft, padded cloth) and to its ability to SIT/STAND with help (see Articulated Dolls).
